Project Description
The McDonald’s Giang Vo Restaurant project marks the next milestone in the strategic partnership between VIETTOP Construction and McDonald’s Corporation – the world’s leading F&B group. It is clear proof of VIETTOP’s construction capability and reputation, as it is repeatedly chosen and trusted by international “giants”. Guided by the principle “Customer satisfaction is our goal”, VIETTOP is committed to maintaining consistent quality and striving to create restaurant spaces that carry the distinct imprint of a global brand while still suiting local tastes and culture.
Project Requirements
- Strict global standards: Every construction item, from architecture and interiors to brand identity, must fully comply with McDonald’s global design standards (Brand Guidelines).
- Optimized operational space: The nature of the fast-food industry demands that the circulation layout of the kitchen and service counter areas be extremely well-planned and able to withstand high pressure during peak hours.
- High-capacity Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems: Especially demanding requirements for ventilation and industrial exhaust systems for the grill/fry areas, together with electrical, water and fire protection (PCCC) systems that ensure absolute safety 24/7.
- Ultra-durable materials: Use of highly durable, abrasion-resistant and easy-to-clean construction materials to cope with the heavy daily customer traffic.
Our Approach
- Deep F&B expertise: The VIETTOP team applied its thorough understanding of the specific technical requirements of the F&B industry to deliver construction solutions closely aligned with real operations, fully resolving issues with floor drainage, waterproofing and grease treatment.
- Professional project management: A detailed Master Schedule was established, with tight control over every milestone. A risk management process and transparent periodic reporting to McDonald’s representatives were applied.
- Safe & clean construction: Occupational safety on site was maintained at the highest level. Because the work took place in central Hanoi (Giang Vo), measures to reduce noise and dust, and the planning of material staging areas, were carefully calculated so as not to affect the surrounding environment.
Project Results
- Delivered on schedule: The premises were handed over by the committed deadline, enabling McDonald’s to install equipment and open according to its business plan.
- Aesthetics & durability assured: The project was completed with crisp, precise finishes, a modern and dynamic space and solid materials, passing every quality inspection from the Client.
- Absolute operational safety: The kitchen, electrical, water and HVAC systems operate at optimal performance, meeting McDonald’s strictest global food safety and fire and explosion prevention standards.
