Project Description Setting the premise for a strong partnership with Kimberly-Clark Vietnam, the BD24 Manufacturing Building is one of the benchmark factory projects executed by VIETTOP Construction. Located in the VSIP II Industrial Park, this facility serves the production lines for health and personal care products. The project required the contractor to meet the most stringent technical standards of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing industry and strictly comply with safety regulations.

Project Requirements

• Load-bearing Factory Floor: Required the construction of a robust concrete floor capable of withstanding continuous dynamic loads from production machinery, with high flatness to ensure precise equipment operation.
• Strict Hygiene Standards: The manufacturing environment for sanitary/health products demanded excellent control over microbiology and dust. Wall and ceiling systems had to utilize easy-to-clean and dust-resistant materials.
• Absolute Safety Compliance (EHS): Strict adherence to Kimberly-Clark’s global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards was mandatory, aiming for a zero-incident construction process.

Approach & Methodology

• Specialized Flooring Techniques: Applied flat floor finishing technology combined with surface hardeners to increase the lifespan and cleanliness of the factory floor.
• Proactive Safety Management: Deployed continuous HSE monitoring systems on-site. All working at heights and equipment lifting tasks were risk-assessed and controlled via a strict Permit to Work system.
• Synchronized Construction Coordination: VIETTOP’s engineering team developed detailed plans, seamlessly coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure a closed-loop schedule.

• On-time Handover: The project was successfully completed in 2020, enabling the Client to quickly bring the production lines into operation.
