Project Description
Located within the campus of Intel’s largest global electronic component manufacturing plant at Saigon Hi-Tech Park (HCMC), the Intel Parking Facility is a key auxiliary infrastructure project designed to meet the large-scale parking demands of thousands of engineers, staff, and shift workers. By successfully delivering this project for a world-leading technology corporation, VIETTOP Construction has affirmed its outstanding capabilities by strictly adhering to international construction standards, particularly stringent US industrial safety systems.
Project Requirements
- Strict EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Standards: Intel is globally renowned for its absolute safety culture. The prerequisite for the project was to achieve a “Zero Incident” goal, complying 100% with the rigorous EHS regulations of both the Client and the Hi-Tech Park.
- High Load-Bearing Capacity & Durability: The nature of industrial parking structures requires the foundation, flooring, and steel/concrete framework to withstand continuous dynamic loads. The floor surface must be wear-resistant, anti-slip, and easy to clean.
- Security & Zero Operational Disruption: The construction site was located directly inside a factory operating 24/7. The contractor had to ensure absolute site security and prevent any dust, noise, or vibration from affecting the highly sensitive microchip production lines nearby.
- Synchronized Technical Systems: Flawless integration of natural and forced ventilation, energy-efficient lighting, security camera networks, and most importantly, top-tier Fire Protection Systems (FPS).
Approach & Methodology
- Proactive Safety Management: Developing detailed safety plans for every phase. We organized daily morning Toolbox Talks; 100% of personnel were certified and trained, and equipment was strictly inspected before entering the site.
- Optimal & Enclosed Construction Methods: Establishing separate material transportation routes, completely isolated from the factory’s main traffic flow. We utilized high-standard enclosure systems to completely isolate the construction zone.
- Multi-layered QA/QC: Applying high-grade industrial materials such as Epoxy/Hardener paints for flooring, while meticulously treating steel structure welds and concrete surfaces. VIETTOP’s engineering team worked closely with Intel’s project management board to inspect and approve every milestone (Hold-points) before proceeding to the next stage.
